As an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers to design HVAC and plumbing systems for a wide variety of commercial projects. From concept through construction, you’ll gain exposure to every phase of the design process while building the technical and professional skills needed to grow your career.

You’ll contribute to system design, engineering calculations, equipment selection, Revit production, field investigations, and construction administration while collaborating with architects, owners, and other engineering disciplines. Our goal is to provide the mentorship, technical challenges, and project experience that allow you to steadily take on greater responsibility as your experience grows.

How you’ll spend your days:

Collaborating with project teams to design HVAC and plumbing systems for a variety of commercial building projects.
Performing engineering calculations, including heating and cooling load calculations and energy analyses.
Assisting with equipment selection, system layouts, and equipment schedules.
Developing construction documents using Revit and coordinating with architects and other engineering disciplines.
Participating in field investigations, site visits, and construction administration activities to support projects through completion.
Attending project coordination meetings and contributing to project planning, technical discussions, and problem-solving.
Learning from experienced engineers while progressively taking on greater technical responsibility and project ownership.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
0–3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or HVAC design (internship or previous consulting experience is a plus).
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit; experience with HVAC load calculation software is preferred, we utilize Carrier HAP.
An understanding of HVAC system fundamentals and a desire to continue developing your technical knowledge.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple assignments.
EIT certification or the ability to obtain it shortly after hire is preferred.
Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn from experienced engineers.
